Yes, Bert at NYCeWheels has done it again. My new Gepida Reptila 1100 is in the garage and awaiting more rides. Bert has sent me this great pedelec for an extended test. I will write many articles about it, and post them on his blog site. Here is the link to see for yourself.
There will also be some stories on other sites they cover. I will do an overview on this bike right here in the future.
With a hundred miles on the odometer already, I can tell you this bike is well-engineered, very efficient, and great to ride. A very nice looking bike too. So link over to Bert’s site for the stories. There are two articles up and running, with more to come.
Thanks, Turbo Bob.
“When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments. Here is a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions for mans convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man’s brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others. Progress should have stopped when man invented the bicycle.”—Elizabeth West, Hovel in the Hills.
